We booked a holiday in Madeira and happened upon that there us rainbow trout in the streams, booked a day and what a day, my guide Ricardo was brilliant. We started on a small stream brimming with trout. Within an hour I had caught 14. All to the dry fly. On Ricardo’s suggestion we relocated to a different stream, just as beautiful but slightly more challenging. With his help I managed to land three stunning rainbow trout and list a couple more.
